Each time I've run into you lately I've remembered I wanted to send you
a note about the service I had from The Computer Guy but until now I just haven't managed to do it.
I used someone else before I learned about The Computer Guy. He'd run
the IT shop for a large corporation and he did seem to know what he was doing but he didn't listen to me very carefully and since he left I've discovered that the laptop he reconfigured for me is working his way, not mine. You, on the other hand, listened to me whine incoherently about my Gateway's performance and figured out how to make it do what I wanted and figured out how my external hard drive should be configured. Best of all, you left me with some understanding of what you had done so I could help myself in the future. Not
long ago I noticed you'd left a file on the hard drive containing a "medical record" for your visit so you'd be able to begin any follow-up by reviewing what you'd done.

While on vacation I had some difficulty with a wireless network and as it turns out with my computer. After 2-3 hours with various "help" centers I called Eric on a Sunday morning at 8:30 and I got a call back in 30 minutes and a visit to my condo in less than an hour.

Eric entered laughing when I complained that I had to hit my iMac to make it do right.
But he apologized when he had to hit the iMac himself, and then went on to figure out the problem and solve it.
When I decided to buy a new Apple eMac, Eric did all the work, and even retrieved my address book that had been lost in cyber-space for over a year!
